The Norwegian author Harald N. Røstvik has over 35 years experience as an architect and a pioneer in sustainable design.
He was educated at the University of Manchester in the UK and established his own green-design practice in 1978, that he still heads.
He designed Europe’s first modern Zero Energy Building, “Chanelle”, in 1985 and was nominated for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture for his solar grid connected WGM building in Colombo Sri Lanka in 2002.
He is part time employed in a Professorship of Architecture specialising in sustainable design at the Bergen School of Architecture in Norway.
This is his seventh book.
His first book “The Sunshine Revolution” sold in 52 countries.
He has been co-author of several other books.
